Questions arising on reading Edmund Burkes "A Philosophical Inquiry Into The Origin Of Our Ideas Of The Sublime And Beautiful" (1753)

Words are mightier than pictures With a more direct Clarity - to signify their meaning
The visual image is ambiguous Words have a positive force No picture can imitate Yet
A pic is worth a lotta words Why that - is it the vagueness Of expression - Or is that its strength?
The positiveness of words are their intrinsic Weakness - ultimately meaning is deception - words no more than birdsong
Such simplicity they twitter Charmed poem sounds Tweet - tweet
Too simple to make a hash of What is understood is the passion of the matter
Song is not visual nor is it wordbound Whatever is - is Not a picture Not a poem Whole tomes Or archives Can change a thing
