Arrived to me a missive

            "Uriel" archangel

Visionary bringer of fire

            Collector of debts

            Redeemer of pledges

                        forgotten

Manifest - subordinate

            to all infinity

            and that beyond

            as is power

            as are nations

            as is worth

            or dominance

            all fortune

            all foundation

West light most perfect

Blurred - touched by fire

            Yet - this is madness

            Things are contrived

            worse than derangement

That which hovers

            about men's ideas

            questioning differences

            equating opposites

Cool pallid colors

            of varying hues

            Browns suffusing

            Black into white

Fixing

            divided

                        concurrent

Optimistic

            desolation

                        simultaneous

Uniform

            mongrelised

                        equitable

This - end and beginning

This - sad light shining

This - cast of opinion

This - ending of days

This - breaker of dreams

This - Uriel beyond

This - end of all flesh

This - despondent trust

This - hope beyond hope

This - giver - this taker

This - menacing angel
